A prospective Demon Hunter must seek out an existing Demon Hunter, who will lead him or her through a series of complex magical rituals.

Eventually, however, the Demon Hunter's skin begins to acquire a blue tinge to it, and with time, also begins to become hard and leathery, giving the Demon Hunter natural armor.
